When I started writing this blog five years ago, never would I have guessed I would be where I am now. Living in London and having met so many amazing people through Urban Flip Flops! Right at the time I moved to London a friend of mine connected me with another American expat who had just made the move as well, Bobbi. Bobbi and I met a couple of times and connected through the blog world and social media and over the past two years started chatting about all of the amazing bloggers in London. What we kept coming back to is how great it is when we meet in person! Being behind a computer all day and meeting in person are such difference things, get togethers are WAY more fun and so nice! SO, we decided to host our first blogger get together and celebrated the season we love most, FALL! Getting together a group of creative ladies requires some creative items throughout. Since I am an event planner professional and a wedding and special event planner on my own, hosting an event is pretty much one of the top of my list of fun things to do. So with a little sequins, some inspirational prints, yummy cocktails, glittery name tags, amazing menus and lots of fun girl talk, it was a lovely brunch at the BFI bar and kitchen.
Getting together a group of creative ladies called for some inspiration throughout the morning. I know recently I could use a little inspiration and prints from Dottie Rocks were perfect.
Simple but pretty mixed groups of Fall flowers on the table added just a little bit of pretty to the brunch table.
I do love styling a table and making it pretty! Need help with your next party, wedding?….contact me {shameless ad!}
The library room at the BFI bar and kitchen is a super cool room for a small gathering! Drinks, a hen do!
You can't invite bloggers out without creating some type of Instagram worthy goodie bag! Well, I made the gift bags by cutting out the hearts and ironing them on the bags. I contacted a few of my favorite suppliers that I want to spread the word about and included them in the bag to share with all the ladies.
We were lucky to have the lovely Maxeen Kim at brunch to offer all of the bloggers a new head shot. Not only is she so sweet, she is also an amazing wedding and event photographer, check her out here.

I am so glad I met these girls Ruth and Terri last year and at Blogtacular! These two are such lovely, creative London ladies! Ruth from The Planned Adventure and Teri from The Lovely Drawer [ladies, she also designs wedding stationery!}
And then there were us two, me and Bobbi. A big thank you to Bobbi for helping me create a little new business this past year! She has patience and encouragement that I have needed. We are almost at the end result and she is great. Check out Bobbi at Ready to Blog for design options.
We were rocking our LOVE for Fall with our ban.do clips!
Recently when I freak out about the amount of things I have on my plate and the amount of events I want to create, I think back to times like this, when I put together a small little event for ladies three years ago I never knew. I decorated the table, created some cocktails, and planned a lovely day and had a blast! We are hoping to create more events like these in the future so please let us know if you are interested in getting together and joining! It may not be how often you blog, or what you blog, but most of us blogging are doing it as an outlet to create, be creative and share it. It is always amazing to gather together sometime and chat about it….but with brunch and a cocktail, its much better!
