Bye Bye March 2013! Hello April!

It has been a fantastic four day Easter weekend here in London. Four days off of work to sleep in, long lunches at the market, evenings out with friends, its been fun! I realized today when I woke up and it was APRIL that wow, we had quite a March! We have really been trying to make the best of living in London and by looking at my Instagram feed, we certainly have!

We discovered a breakfast place in Camden Passage that has amazing breakfast burritos. I attended a fun new wedding fair and found some neat new vendors I am excited to share in the next few weeks. Beau and I ran our first 1/2 marathon together in Bath. We discovered a wedding venue in Fulham that we are quite interested in. I attended a fun night out at Kate Spade in Covent Garden. Beau and I had a fun afternoon with new friends at the Lichentenstein exhibit at the TATE, highly recommended. We discovered new parks for Oliver all over the city. I was so excited to have Elizabeth visit and celebrate her birthday with her! We tried out a Sunday roast at the Pig & the Butcher, we now want to spend every Sunday there! Elizabeth and I went on a site visit in Holland Park and made some new feathery friends. I went to Harrods and saw the Dior exhibit, really fantastic! Oliver and I went on a lot of morning runs, including my favorite new nearby park for him, including an adorable cafe, Clissold Park. We discovered a new local, AMAZING, cheese shop/charcuterie/pastry shop, La Fromagerie. The shop is less then a 10 minute walk from our flat, dangerous. I went and saw the amazing show, The Audience, starring Helen Mirren. Oliver turned TWO! Beau and I spent the perfect afternoon at Borough Market, shopping at the market and a long lunch with wine, perfect.

March wasn't too shabby. I am hoping that April brings a little sunshine here in London and even more fun. We have a short trip away planned to the English coast and get together here and there. Anybody else have some exciting plans? Know of any fun London activities going on? Let me know!

Happy April!
