Notes from the Weekend

This weekend was one of those weekends that you would like to last a little longer come Monday morning. It was such a fun but not stressful weekend full of walks in the park, an amazing brunch with good friends and a fun run on Sunday. I spent yesterday afternoon cooking up a storm of healthy things getting ready for the week ahead and would love to go back. Here is to a busy but happy week ahead.
We have never gone to Hampstead Heath later in the evening but since the sun doesn't go down now until 9:30ish, we decided to head there after work on Friday with Sir Oliver. It was SUCH a beautiful evening, so peaceful and relaxing. There were tons of people with picnics and just enjoy the finally summer like weather here in London.

The house below, hello beautiful roses crawling up the side, can I move in?
Saturday morning we dressed up and went to brunch at the much talked about London hot spot Chiltern Firehouse. I have to say, with all the talk about it, I was happy to say it was lovely. We went with our wonderful neighbors, also...friends, who are moving back to Australia soon and celebrated. A FULL brunch of eggs benedict, key lime pie, amazing cornbread oh and champagne, ooo la la, it was decadent. Located in a restored firehouse just around the corner from wonderful Marylebone High Street it was wonderful.
Can't help myself from a bathroom selfie in a fab bathroom, right?;)
The entrance is FULL of amazing flowers growing everywhere and you know I love that. I dream of the day we have a home to fill with fresh flowers growing around everywhere. Gosh I am going to miss this lady below!
Afterwards we strolled around the neighborhood and fell upon The Conran Shop. Can somebody tell me why I haven't been here before!!! How cute is the outdoor patio section and lets discuss the amazing linens. Oh the parties I could plan with these!
My first race in a few years...the Nike Women's 10K was yesterday. I ran with two girlfriends and I have to say, it was super fun. I had not trained so well and was a bit nervous, however once we arrived at Victoria Park it was full of energy and got me going. Mr. Beau and Oliver came to cheer us on and the race ended with a necklace instead of a medal, glasses of champagne, a braid bar and lots of free goodies. I finished in under an hour which was my goal so hey, I'm happy. Now I'm looking for another run soon, any suggestions?

And last but not least how could I forget Father's Day. Living thousands of miles from my papa isn't always fun. I would have loved to have gotten together for brunch with my parents but hey, that's life right. From a far I was wishing my dad SO much love, my papa, pretty much the most amazing guy, we like to call him the Renaissance man!
love you dad!

Happy week ahead everyone! xoxo - Becca
