Wedding Wednesday: Emily Gets Married in the Vineyard!

A couple weeks ago we travelled to Martha's Vineyard for one of my best girlfriends from college wedding. I have mentioned Emily's wedding a few times before here and here and am so excited to finally share with you a few photos from the beautiful weekend. I had never been to the Vineyard and after a quick trip there, I am so ready to go back! What a wonderful beautiful place that Emily and George chose for their wedding!

Beau checking out the many boats as we arrive on the Ferry.

A Vineyard Vine boat, really? Too cute! You must have a bow tie with whales on it and a Labrador puppy to be allowed on board.

On Saturday morning we rented bikes and took a long bike ride along the coast. The views were picturesque! I felt like we were in a movie.

Emily and George got married in a quintessential New England Colonial Church. The church was small, intimate and adorable. How cute does the bride look right after the ceremony. I love that the bubbles made their way into the photos!

I had no doubt that Emily's wedding wouldn't be beautiful. I knew she would have lots of special details throughout. She had been planning by herself for a year and with many Gchat conversations I had with her throughout the day, I couldn't wait to see it all come together. Isn't it pretty!

Our cute pregnant bestey Jenn and her husband in our dinner tent.
Emily has worked in the events business New York City for years. The two of us have always bonded and vented about events, long hours, details, guest lists, etc. It is a love hate relationship we have. Long hours, lots of crazy calls with clients but we love it. That is why I was so excited to see the personalized touches she put into her and George's own event. The G&E table was sweet.

They mixed in long wooden tables throughout the tents to mix up the look of the decor. Em, it was perfect!

Emily and George both love biking and the topper of the cake shows it!

I love love love this idea that they had instead of a guest book. A thumbprint tree. Everyone signed their names and it will look so lovely in their house for the rest of the life!

And here the five of us Alpha Phi girls are with the blushing bride...beautiful!

Congratulations Emily! You were a beautiful bride and the day was amazing! Cheers to you and your new hubby George!

xoxo~Becca
