Every weekend in London we are overwhelmed with the amount of fun activities to do in this city. I thought that it may be a nice post to begin sharing some of our ideas and places I have found that we want to visit with my readers. Thoughts, suggestions? What will you be up this weekend? We have visitors from the States coming in so we will be wandering around London and playing tourist....and I can't wait! Happy Weekend!
Valentino Exhibit - The master of couture has over 130 haute couture gowns on display at Somerset House. I have already bought my tickets for next weekend and can't wait.
Ice Skating at Somerset House - I think bundling up and going for an evening of ice skating at Somerset House sounds super romantic and festive.
Ice Skating at the Natural History Museum - This ice rink has a fantastic ambiance since it is located right in front of the Natural History Museum and across the street from the V&A. If you are not the ice skating type, grab a cup of mulled wine in the cafe and be entertained by the others.
Hollywood Exhibit at the V&A - I went to this exhibit last night and so loved it! With over 100 iconic costumes it was fun to browse through and see the costume directors notes on why the Birds suit was a light green or how Indiana Jones got his leather jacket "worn" so quickly. Lovely exhibit.
Feast - As the site states "street food heroes will come together with a hand picked selection of the capital’s most exciting chefs". The lineup includes HIX, Mishkin's, Ceviche, Gordon Ramsay’s York and Albany as well as Lucky Chip, Big Apple Hot Dogs, Lily Vanilli, Yum Bun and Pizza Pilgrims. A street festival in my neighborhood, Islington. Buy your tickets before hand.
Happy Weekend! xoxo~Rebecca
