Wedding Week: The Best Memories

Off we go today, we are heading to Paris on the Eurostar for our one year wedding anniversary. I truly can not believe it has been a year! Mr. Beau and I have been together for almost ten years {for you new readers, his name is not Beau, its my nickname for him, so now, he's my Mr. Beau!} and our wedding day truly was the best day ever! I know I write about weddings often, I plan weddings and events for a living, I've been in friends weddings as a bridesmaids and attended a lot, however, the feeling of being the bride and getting married to your best friend and celebrating with everyone you love, well truly, it is a dream. I could go into lots of details but I will let the pictures do the talking for themselves. From getting ready with our friends, to seeing each other at the altar, dancing the night away, feeling like a princess, non stop smiling, oh the list goes on of just how amazing the day truly was! In our memory of the day, it was perfect and it will forever be the most beautiful memory to start our married life together.

I know the images on Instagram often make everything look perfect and happy, I mean, who wants to look at sad photos, however sometimes its not. Mr. Beau and have had a long road to the altar, mainly full of amazing memories but also a bit of stress and like every couples hills that we managed to get over. We did long distance for a few years and moved together through two big moves. Our wedding to the both of us was a party and a huge celebration to being each others Mr. and Mrs. To being husband and wife, to starting the amazing next chapter in our life together. The details were amazing and fun, but we also put so much effort into our ceremony and truly cherishing why were getting married. I wasn't sure if I wanted to share SO many images on my blog but then I thought, why not. I love our story as it makes us who we area, and having shared the rest of our life on this blog, I thought why not share the best day ever.
Looking back at the images from this day reminds me of just how lucky I am. So many amazing friends and such wonderful family and one heck of a fabulous husband. I get teary eyed just looking at these photos thinking of how lucky I truly am for such happy memories in my life.
From our first dance to the last Beyonce song, the memories of our wedding day are forever in my mind and I replay them all the time and a HUGE smile fills my mind with happy thoughts.
Thank you for coming along on this journey with me these past two years, it has been amazing, it truly was the best day ever!
As I finish up this blog post on these amazing memories I get a bit happy teary eyed. The day was filled with so many personal and happy moments and anytime I am having a stressed out day, not kidding, I just take a break and think back to our wedding day celebration! Cheers! It TRULY was the best day ever!

xoxo - Rebecca
